I have been drawing a lot these days and am running outta storage space... so i m gonna stop for a while... mainly for TWO reasons. 1st already mentioned and 2ndly... i have been going through a bad phase at drawing.. i mean it happens like sometimes my skills are at their sharpest and i go on a sketchin spree, producing good works... but currently i m at the opposite end and all my portrait sketches are gettin screwed up(aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) :(

Maybe i need a break.. but i will be BACK!!
anyway what i wanted to ask my fellow dA mates is that HOW DO I PRESERVE MY ARTWORKS so that they dont detoriate, smudge or develope softness or a yellowish tint?
I normally keep my works between two sheets of white paper n store in in files, but i need something more reliable n compact!

As you know i mostly draw with INK,PENS,PENCILS & MARKERS... so any suggestions on how i can preserve my art better?
PLEASE HELP!! ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME!!

I say after drawing, laminate 'em. EASY WORK.

...and some cost to the wallet.

Most Of pencil and charcoal artists apply what they call "fixative" on their drawings. they like spraying it on their works so it'll maintain it's beauty...
but i dont do dat. 'coz i dont know where to buy it, and i thinks those are expensive... i juz store my draws on clearfilefolder.. and just like ~karthik82 said, after i 've scanned them i save em on my flashdrive :)

Hmmm... I haven't given much thought to storing the original artworks actually... I do my stuff in sketchbooks and just store those in a cupboard.

I scan my stuff at 600 dpi and store those files on an external hard disk...
